The structure fire which occurred over the weekend at MPG Industries, 20604 Amherst Court, is out. One of the buildings on the property was a complete loss, the other building was heavily damaged.

The fire remains under investigation by the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. EPA are currently on the scene stabilizing and evaluating the site.
