The New Lenox Fire Protection District is now collecting items for Toys for Tots. Area residents will be able to drop off new, unwrapped toys at each of the four fire stations. Collection dates will be November 1st through December 2nd.

New Lenox Fire District Chiefs Complete International Professional Designation Process

New Lenox Fire Protection District, October 06

New Lenox Fire Protection District’s Chief Adam Riegel and Deputy Chief Dan Turner have successfully completed the process that awards them the professional designation of “Chief Fire Officer” (CFO). The Commission on Professional Credentialing (CPC) met on September 1, 2020 to officially confer the designation upon Chief Riegel and Deputy Chief Turner. They are now two of only 1,498 CFOs worldwide.

Fraudulent Email Notice

We would like to make our local businesses aware that there have been some emails in the area which look like they are coming from NFPA or local fire departments. The email we have seen mentions a Uniform Civil Violation Notice or Fire Rescue Inspection Reports. It also contains links to other sites.
