New Lenox Fire Protection District

The New Lenox Fire Protection District’s Board of Fire Commissioners is a policy-making body appointed by the Board of Trustees. Board members are appointed by the Board of Trustees to serve a three year term.  The Terms are staggered so that only one expires per year.  The Board of Fire Commissioners are responsible for regulating examinations for original appointments, examinations for promotions, and hearings on charges brought against members of the District.
