At the March Board of Trustee's meeting the District accepted a donation of $16,000 from the New Lenox Fire Foundation to purchase Rescue Task Force (RTF) equipment. This equipment will be used in the event of an active shooter event in the community and will allow our members to enter the area of the hostile event quicker to be able to provide life saving care to those who are injured.
