The New Lenox Fire District provides quality fire protection, emergency medical services,
and specialized rescue to 45,000 residents across 36 square miles.

Learn CPR

We are an authorized American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center providing courses in Adult CPR, Child CPR, Infant CPR, for Healthcare Providers and the laypersons.

NLFD Foundation

The New Lenox Fire Foundation is a non-profit organization that is composed of volunteers who strive to provide the New Lenox Fire District with the most elite and up to date equipment that is needed to benefit the community. All of the items purchased exceed the budget of the New Lenox Fire District, and have been purchased with money raised from the Foundation.


The Save-A-Life program enables the NLFPD Foundation to provide New Lenox Fire District with lifesaving equipment.

Congratulations to Deputy Chief Dan Turner and Fire Marshal James Brown! Both were sworn into their new roles during last night's Board of Trustees meeting. Dan Turner has 30 years of experience as a firefighter, and has worked in the Life Safety Division as Fire Marshal for 10 years. Jamie Brown has worked with the New Lenox Fire District for 25 years.
