Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the New Lenox Fire Protection District that it is accepting applications for candidates to fill one vacancy in its Board of Fire Commissioners.

Candidates for the open seat on the Board of Fire Commissioners must not have been convicted of a felony and currently live within the New Lenox Fire Protection District.

To apply, candidates must submit a resume and cover letter explaining why they want to serve as a Fire Commissioner to the District’s headquarters located at 261 E. Maple Street, New Lenox, IL 60451 no later than June 14, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

The Board of Trustees of the New Lenox Fire Protection District, in its sole discretion, will interview prospective candidates at its June 17, 2019, Board Meeting, which begins at 7:00 p.m.
